Performer

Pamela Gitani began taking piano lessons at 8 years old with Valeria Mitea, and quickly became captivated by the instrument. Five years later, she had the privilege of studying under Françoise Wel, a French pianist who was an assistant to Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, the world-renowned Belgian pianist. She continued studying with Françoise Wel at the Academy of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and was occasionally supervised by Teresa Escudero. Pamela participated in several masterclasses with notable musicians such as Abdel-Rahman El Bacha and Johan Schmidt. After a period of reflection, she decided to spend a year at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels from 2009 to 2010, where she studied with Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden and Burkard Spinnler. While her diverse interests eventually led her to pursue linguistics, music remains a vital part of her life and she still plays the piano from time to time.
